King T & SBPLUSIX
Bandung-based Music Producer & DJ, King T released his latest single with rapper SBPLUSIX titled "The Sequence". This release is the first single from the upcoming King T debut album "My Friend, Carl" that will release in next month later. In addition to producing songs, King T also actively enlivened many music events together with his collective, SAF Collective, and has visited various cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Malang in presenting the characteristics of his DJ set.
Through the single "The Sequence", the two musicians told about how the efforts of an individual who tried to get out of the inconvenience of implementing the system. This has an impact on giving stereotypes and also has a negative impact on the process of self-maturity of each individual.
"The Sequence" itself has the meaning of the stages of the process where each individual needs a process to fight the discomfort of what they feel in building their characteristics.
The song created by King T with Sbplusix this time is thick with the hip-hop and trap genre, but at 1:50, King T switches the beat into a boom-bap.
"Initially Belva (Sbpulsix) invited me to make a song together. Incidentally, there were plans to make an album and I asked again if I wanted to be included in my upcoming album," said King T at the beginning of making "The Sequence". "After Belva agreed, he gave some references that he got to be used as music material."
